Wednesday, March 9, 2005 will see the next meeting of OFTA (Old Friends Talk Arts) at the Buchanan Center for the Arts on the square in downtown Monmouth, IL.
The talk will be delivered by Jim De Young and is titled "Is It All Greek to You?"
It will be a brief introduction to the college production of Euripides' The Trojan Women The start time is 10:00 AM and refreshments will be served.
There is no admission charge.
Thomasina in Tom Stoppard's mind bending time warping play, ARCADIA, observes that when you stir raspberry jam into vanilla pudding it will first swirl in streaks but ultimately will turn the entire pudding pink. If you stir the pudding in the opposite direction, the jam will not separate back out again. --LIFE MOVES ONLY FORWARD--NEVER BACK!--
