Birds and other things in Sabino Canyon

 

We have seen all of these in the past three days. Our identifications are always probable.


Nice little house finch




This is a Verdin

 
Cactus Wren

Black Throated Sparrow

 

 
 
Mockingbirds have a variety of songs.

 
This is not a bird. This is a Javelina  He is a Peccary and we gave him wide room because.

he was followed by mama and a couple of young'uns.
 
 
 
 
And a first flower of a Brittlebush. More are on the way.
